Accounts Assistant
We’re looking for a dynamic individual with strong critical thinking skills to assist us in managing the finances and accounts for some of the biggest and best venues and events in London.

If you love problem-solving but also have a passion for the music industry, then this role is for you. Our events and venues, including Cross The Tracks, City Splash, Wide Awake, Between The Bridges and many others across London, offer an exciting and diverse work environment.
This is an amazing opportunity to work behind the scenes, organising and maintaining the books whilst working across an eclectic mix of events, such as drag brunches at Between the Bridges, a City Splash celebration at Drumsheds and DJ sets across Hackney, Brixton and central London.
About you
The ideal candidate will have experience in account management, Xero and Excel. They should be communicative, flexible, able to work collaboratively in a creative team, and also capable of working independently.
The role would be suitable for someone from an accountancy practice or apprenticeship background, It could also be a great option for a candidate working in the industry, but looking to study AAT/ACCA/CIMA and develop accounting skills beyond purely transactional work. There is excellent scope to develop your skills and you’ll be working closely with the Qualified Accountant who is keen to mentor you through studies and develop your skills further.
What the Role Involves:
Recording financial transactions in Xero
Conducting bank reconciliations
Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts
Manage accounts receivable & credit control
Manage accounts payable & weekly payment runs
Maintaining the cashbook
Basic balance sheet reconciliations
Lead in monthly payroll
Lead in quarterly FEU returns
Assisting in the quarterly VAT returns
Assisting with annual statutory accounts preparation
Required Skills:
Confident use of Excel and keen to learn more
Excellent attention to detail
Numerically minded
Able to work independently
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn
Our Company
Pack Group is a small group of interconnected businesses in the music and creative industries. We are looking for a dynamic account assistant to join our fast-paced finance team. You will have full access to learn about an exciting creative industry and be involved with some of the best and most well-known music artists and festivals in the UK.
The role is full-time, with a minimum of one day a week based in London (Shoreditch) and options to work in the Hertfordshire or London office for the rest of the week. Once established, there will be options for remote work and flexible hours.
